Here I am, for all the world to see. I grew up in Louisiana in a small rural town where I learned the ways of the world. I've seen racism, hate, anger, violence, selfishness, egotistical brainwashed people. I've also seen love, selflessness, heartfullness, caring, somewhat wise people. Sometimes it seems to me that being poor is a disease that you can't get rid of unless you get lucky. I consider myself lucky, as I was able to leave this small town and make a little more of myself than the unlucky souls stuck there now. In being so lucky, I feel I have something great lying ahead of me that I will accomplish and in doing so be able to make the world a better place for us all. Hopefully, I will be able to do this, but as with anything, there are always going to be things that try and keep you down. I'm using this LJ as a way to express my feelings and interests, and maybe I'll be able to help someone else along the way.
